Dear Senator:
I'm a student at Frank Borman Middle School, and I have a concern. My problem is pretty brief; I think education is more important than fashion. My goal in life is to have a real goal on life, but by putting students (like me) to worry about fashion rather than school work, that's not going to take me anywhere, is it? I just want to let the principals know that making unnecessary rules shouldn't be allowed! I'm saying all of this because I actually do care about my future in school.
All my opinions are based on that education is better than fashion. Here's one of them: Principals and teachers could be worrying about our education right now, rather than wasting lots of money on Id's. They could also be worrying about students' education rather than wasting time checking if we have our uniform on right! Another reason is that students actually go to school to be taught actual school work, not fashion. One thing that I've noticed is that when people treat their students strict from the beginning, students disobey and don't care anymore. Like I always say: It's better to have SOME rules and still have the students obey the rules, than to have many strict rules, but have the students turn into rebels. (and trust me, the second choice always turns out to actually happen)
May I ask that you consider this a lot and understand what I'm saying. A way to understand better is to actually put yourself in our shoes/see our point of view. This decision that you will make will make sense because even you know that education in school is more important than fashion. What I ask now, is for you to please make the law that states: No uneducated rules allowed on school campgrounds. As we all know now, rules in schools have to be about education, NO to fashion!!
This law will obviously work because students will take consideration of what we did and appreciate it! We already know that whatever they tell students to do, they do the opposite, so this law will definitely work! I'm positively sure that the students will obey this law because we will finally let them wear whatever they want to, even in Elementary schools! After this law is made, students will go off stress and become real goal makers in life.(concerning education goals) After the law is passed though, students will have to obey it even more because it will become an actual law now. (and hopefully, principals will obey it as well!)
Now that you have read my letter, I thank you for using your time wisely while reading it. I really appreciate your time and hope you think deeply about what I have written. I understand that you may be very busy all of the time, so that's why I appreciate you for taking time to actually read my letter today. Once again I thank you and hope you understand that I made this letter especially for you so I really appreciate it! Please consider my letter for future voting and thanks again!
Sincerely:
Raquel Montijo
