Senator Letter #5

Senator Bingaman:

Hi, my name is Brian Campos I am a student at Frank Borman Middle School located in Phoenix, Arizona. I am writing to you to give you an opinion on a child's side of the law. I would also like to ask you to take a law in notice and really make it into a law or not that decision is up to you. It will kind of make it a solution for the kids and it will also make it easier for our parents. Not only will it help them but it will also help out the economy on the money needs. This is a request that millions of young kids around the United States will want, I know I would.

This is a pretty big issue because people need money now more then ever. The economic gains of our nation are getting lower and lower almost everyday. Parents are even having trouble paying the bills for their homes, which is part of the reason why so many people are getting their homes a foreclosure. This way parents can save up money to pay their bills at home to give their children a place to live in. This can also get the economy higher because the parents and the kids would have more money to go and spend at stores and stuff.

Many kids want to work in the U.S before the legal age. Most of their families do need the money not only that the child would be able to buy their own stuff. In order to work the child would have to commit to it, and just like any other person if they weren't committing to their job they would get fired. So what I'm trying to say here is to pass a law where children from the age of thirteen or older can work on a real job. I know what your thinking, ''What about their education in school?'', well let me tell you that the jobs don't have to be a full time job teenagers can just ask for a part time job. They can have part of the day at school and the other part they can be earning their money working.

This will work because their are many teenagers in the U.S that wish to be able to work at a young age. This can also solve the problem of kids going out there and selling stuff like drugs, illegal movies.etc. If you think about it all the kids really want is money so they can't find any way to do it so they go out there and start selling all they can sell. And if they are able to work at a young age they can quiet doing what they do and go work at a real job. This can also help out the parents like I've said before. If the kids can make their own money in the right way that would allow the parents to have more money to pay bills and stuff.

I would just like to say thank you to you for taking some time of your day to read this. I really appreciate it because I know you have a busy day every day in your life. I just hope you take this and consider it making it a law, because we do need this law. Well thank you again for your valuable time!
